Description | LESOSAI 6.0 is a programme for thermal energy calculation and certification of buildings comprising one or more heated or cooled zones. It is designed primarily for building and thermal engineers and architects. The software supports several languages: English, French, German and Italian. Users can choose from several calculation methods.

LESOSAI 6.0 allows the calculation of environmental impacts of energy consumption, taking into account the energy used, but also considering the construction materials of the building. This calculation is based on a life cycle of a building and uses the list of impacts provided by the KBOB (extracted from the Ecoinvent database), and methodology consistent with the SIA 2032 technical specifications.

In order to simulate buildings in many places throughout the supported countries, Lesosai integrates the weather data generator, Météonorm.

To calculate the thermal conductance coefficient (U-value), Lesosai includes USai, which can also synchronise the databases of materials with several producers who participated in the www.materialsdb.org project.
