SimSol is a simulation tool for predicting thermal performance of Solar Domestic Hot Water Systems in residential or commercial buildings.

| This new software was developed in collaboration with the French Agency for Environment and Energy Management (ADEME). The tool is based on dynamic simulation (one hour time step) with TRNSYS. Six solar domestic hot water systems configurations are available : - External heat exchanger and remote auxiliary system - External heat exchanger and integrated auxiliary system - External heat exchanger and remote & instantaneous auxiliary system - Alternative for solar tank draw off - Internal heat exchanger and remote auxiliary system - No heat exchanger and remote auxiliary system | |
