We are happy to announce that as of 23rd of March 2010 some new improvements and features are now available on the portal:

• The categorization of the contents has been simplified with a clearer and shorter list of themes
• The most interesting cases are now selected and highlighted on the portal by the BUILD UP staff experts.
• All items now offer the possibility of creating an attractive image gallery to help illustrate the user's submissions. You can easily browsing through the images and zoom in when you wish.
• The user's profile has been updated and now provides information on the communities which the user is a facilitator of.
• A new user scoring program has been created, called Kudos. Kudos are a way to acknowledge the activity and reliability of registered members. Each activity a registered user performs on the portal is awarded with a numerical value which is associated to the member’s profile. In other words: the higher the total number of Kudos a member has, the more active he/she is and the more visible they will be on the portal.
• Some new features have also been added to the BUILD UP Communities: You can view the most active communities using the advanced search option and even more importantly, the communities have been improved so that now, once you enter a community you will be presented with a 'closed environment' where all content is linked to the community. In order to exit the community simply click on the 'Leave the community' link.
