Pouzdan Unutarnja toplinska izolacija povijesnih zgrada     RIBuild-to je znanstveno-istraživački projekt "Horizont 2020", koji se razvija smjernice o tome kako instalirati unutarnju toplinsku izolaciju povijesnih građevina uz zadržavanje njihovih arhitektonske i kulturne baštine.   Cilj projekta je smanjenje potrošnje energije u povijesnim zgradama, u susret klime EU 2020 i ciljeva u oblasti energetike.     Značajan potencijal za uštedu energije u povijesnim zgradama

 Integrative energije struktura urbanih područja: kolektivnog učenja za poboljšanje efikasnosti upravljanja     Istraživanje gradski projekt "Horizont 2020", koja okuplja gradove za razmjenu i raditi na poboljšanju strukture za upravljanje o pitanjima za integrirano planiranje urbanog energije. Projekt ima za cilj актуализацию i provedbu integrativni gradskog energetskog planiranja u upravi grada i zamišljen je kao projekt od grada gradova. Naglasak je na procesima koji se odnose na (re-) razvoj gradskih sadržaja.

The Horizon 2020 funded DREEAM project (Demonstrating an integrated Renovation approach for Energy Efficiency At the Multi-building scale) aims to show that renovating at a larger scale opens the opportunity for a better integration of renewable energy and is generally more cost effective. The project demonstrates a multi-building and single owner renovation approach that can achieve a 75% reduction of total energy demand.

iBROAD, the new Horizon 2020 project aiming to explore, design, develop and demonstrate the concept of individual Building Renovation ROADmaps, kicked off  on 3-4 July 2017 in Athens, Greece.   These building renovation roadmaps will serve as a tool outlining deep step-by-step renovation plans with customised recommendations for individual buildings (iBROAD-Plan), combined with a repository of building-related information (logbook, iBROAD- Log).

Evaluating and selecting alternative scenarios or measures to be implemented can be a substantial use of time and resources for cities.
