The ECO-Binder project has released its sixth newsletter summarizing the project progress and we would like to share it with you.
The ECO-Binder project is funded by the European Union under the H2020 research and innovation programme and it aims to implement industrial R&D activities related to developing Belite-Ye’elimite-Ferrite (BYF) based low-CO2 binders and demonstrating the possibility of replacing Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) based concrete products with new ones based on the new Belite-Ye’elimite-Ferrite (BYF) technology.

This issue of the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre’s (AIVC) newsletter provides links and information on newly released AIVC publications and major upcoming AIVC events. The major roles of the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) are to disseminate information and to facilitate international collaborative projects in the fields of ventilation and airtightness. Seven projects have just been approved for the 2017-2021 operating period at our the last AIVC board meeting: Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) metrics, ventilation requirements, airtightness testing, and performance of fans, residential cooker hoods, and heat recovery, are key issues addressed in these projects.

Following the approval by the Executive Committee of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Energy in Buildings and Communities (EBC) Programme regarding the continuation of Annex 5 - Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) for the period 2017-2021, this tenth issue of the AIVC newsletter aims to provide information on the centre’s R&D related activities as well as its high impact dissemination activities involving the organisation of events, the production of publications, the cooperation with well-established organisations etc.
