The project SECURE (Smarter Energy Communities in Northern & Arctic Regions) aims to foster energy-secure communities through the promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.   It will achieve this by transferring and implementing innovative energy solutions for housing and public infrastructures in seven regions across the Northern Periphery and Arctic programme area.   Stakeholders will study effective technologies and good practice approaches that promote the increased use of energy efficiency and renewable energy resources.

The EURECA Tool, developed in the framework of the H2020 funded Datacenter EURECA Project, is a web-based platform that helps public procurers and data centre professionals self-assess the energy efficiency and profile of their data centres, and provides improvements and suggestions. During the final multiplier event of sem@schools.eu "Sustainable Energy Management at Schools in Europe", the project partners and direct beneficiaries will present the results obtained with the implementation of an extracurricular training path on Energy Efficiency, which has been piloted with more than 10.000 students and teachers in 5 EU countries.
