One of the core outputs of the IDES-EDU project is the design of two full courses on Integral Sustainable Energy Design of the Built Environment. These courses will apply to students (Master level) and to professionals (Post-Graduate level) and will focus on a multi-disciplinary approach integrating elements of architectural, civil, environmental and mechanical engineering. The Master course will take four semesters while the Post-Graduate course will take two semesters.
Project partners have identified and assessed the market needs in their country and concluded to a common required "expertise profile" which along with their experience helped determine the structure of education. The final educational structure is now a reality:

The content of the educational packages is at the final stages of development. Its completion is expected at the end of this year. Once it is finalised it will be implemented into existing courses of the 15 partner Universities or as a new course.
In order to assist in education and training new teaching techniques such as e-learning, multimedia teaching and pedagogical methods shall be included.
