The new Parliament and Commission face many challenges in energy policy and climate change abatement. 2010 will be the first time that the sectors representing cogeneration and district heating will have used their most visible annual events to send a united message to the Commission and Parliament. The Conference brings the strongest advocates and the most influential thinkers in district heating and cogeneration to Brussels to highlight the significant role which efficient provision of heat and electricity must play in resolving Europe’s climate and energy challenges today. The one-day conference shall be focused on best practice, policy and strategy for action in Europe’s energy policy in the light of Copenhagen outcomes.
