To mark the new Commission’s appointment Euroheat & Power and COGEN Europe are organizing a joint Annual Conference. In 2010 COGEN Europe and Euroheat & Power will showcase the proven capability and still untapped potential for cogeneration and district heating in this unique event.

The new Parliament and Commission face many challenges in energy policy and climate change abatement. 2010 will be the first time that the sectors representing cogeneration and district heating will have used their most visible annual events to send a united message to the Commission and Parliament. The Conference brings the strongest advocates and the most influential thinkers in district heating and cogeneration to Brussels to highlight the significant role which efficient provision of heat and electricity must play in resolving Europe’s climate and energy challenges today.
