Air infiltration and ventilation glossary

Share this Post:
The Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre's first glossary of ventilation terms was published in 1981 as AIVC Technical Note 5 and contained definitions of words relating to air infiltration and ventilation. Since then, many definitions have been updated and new terms have been added. This technical note published in 1992 incorporates the changes that have been made since the first edition was published. It also includes the principle terms associated with ventilation technology. The intention of this document is to promote a more uniform use of terms in the area of ventilation.
