The call for buildings renovation and rooftop solar energy expansion supports the Renovation Wave initiative, which the European Commission is due to present on October 14.

For one last time, under the Energy challenge of the Horizon 2020 programme, proposers were invited to submit their ideas to accelerate the market-uptake of energy efficiency solutions across Europe.    10 topics with a total budget of €64m were open in the areas of buildings, innovative financing, consumers, services,  public authorities and policy support. An impressive number of proposals were received, amounting to 759M €.
