The building is one of 5 planned buildings. Two of the five buildings have already been realised and will be put into operation in late summer 2020. In addition to the Passive House standard, the criteria of an efficiency house 40 and the solar house standard are also fulfilled.

Présentation   Le Plan Climat de l'Eurométropole de Strasbourg affiche des objectifs ambitieux en matière d'utilisation du matériau bois et des biosourcés dans les bâtiments, avec la volonté de construire 300 à 400 logements en bois par an sur le territoire. La RE 2020 devrait appuyer les perspectives de développement de ces techniques constructives, en faveur d'un bâtiment bas carbone, ayant un impact environnemental plus vertueux.

This text describes a demo case from the Flexi-Sync project where excess heat from a cooling process has been harvested and used in the district heat system of Berlin. Energy providers and property owners can both benefit from an innovative cooling concept based on the utilization of the flexibility in district heating systems, and in particular by harvesting excess heat from a cooling process.
