Doelstellingen? Het Passiefhuis-Platform stelt zich tot doel de bouw van energiezuinige gebouwen, gebaseerd op het Passiefhuis-concept, te stimuleren. Het platform wenst hiertoe enerzijds bedrijven bij elkaar te brengen die begaan zijn met dit onderwerp en hun te ondersteunen bij de ontwikkeling van Passiefhuis-technologie. Anderzijds wil het PassiefHuis-platform aan alle geïnteresseerde partijen zoveel mogelijk informatie verstrekken.

Innovative facade concepts are today more relevant than ever. The demand for natural ventilation in commercial buildings is increasing due to growing environmental consciousness while at the same time energy consumption for buildings has to be reduced. An advanced facade should allow for a comfortable indoor climate, sound protection and good lighting, thus minimising the demand for auxiliary energy input. Double skin facades (DSF) have become a major architectural element in office buildings over the last 15 years.

Each model building will represent a certain construction period of the country and a specific building size. The key outcome of the project will be an interactive webtool that allows using the Building Typology for different applications as e. g.  energy advice, portfolio assessment, assessment of the building stock of a country and comparison of the building stocks between different countries. This document provides a presentation of this project.
