The award-winning Social Electricity application, which initially targeted only the citizens of Cyprus, is now available all over Europe. After three years of operation in Cyprus and more than 2,000 users, the app has been radically re-designed (taking into account feedback and suggestions from the users) towards better management of electrical energy consumption in a collaborative and social online environment. Some of the changes and new features are:

Social Electricity is an online, social application for managing your electrical consumption, collaborate with other citizens from the same country or all around Europe, compare consumptions to perceive the user's footprint, see statistics, play games relating to energy and minimise expense in energy consumption. The application targeted initially only the citizens of Cyprus, with the support from the Electricity Authority of Cyprus. After three years of operation in Cyprus and more than 2,000 users, now it supports citizens from all around Europe.
