4 Scottish primary schools in the Perthshire district have been chosen to test a new type of energy consumption monitors allowing them to find out how much electricity, water and gas they are consuming on a daily basis. The devices shall help to reduce the carbon footprints and the eneryg bills of teh schools involved in the trial. The project also aims at helping pupils to gain a better understanding of climate change issues and to be aware of the importance of simple energy saving measures such as turning lights and taps off when not in use.
