The 41st AIVC & ASHRAE IAQ joint Conference “IAQ 2020: Indoor Environmental Quality Performance Approaches Transitioning from IAQ to IEQ” will be held from the 14th to the 16th of September 2020 in Athens, Greece together with the 9th TightVent and the 7th venticool conferences. [31 May 2020 - COVID-19 update for Registrants]. On behalf of ASHRAE and AIVC, we wish to inform you that a decision was made to postpone the IAQ 2020 Conference. It will be rescheduled in 2021 as a face-to-face conference in Athens, Greece. At this time, the 31 May deadline for submitting papers is suspended.
The decision to postpone the conference was made in large part by the results of the survey completed by some 170 authors

HOLISDER is an EU project testing innovative models to incease the impact of flexible energy services by addressing the relationship between ESCO’s, demand response aggregators and end-users.

In the 2050 EU Energy Strategy, the EU has set a long-term goal for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 80-95% when compared to 1990 levels, in line with the efforts of the Paris Agreement to limit the temperature increase to 1.5° above pre-industrial levels. In order to achieve this ambitious goals, public authorities at all levels need the technical know-how and resources to develop long-term climate and energy actions.

The information system of the IMPULSE project is an online tool developed in the framework of the Interreg MED Programme 2014-2020. IMPULSE introduces an integrated management support system for planning energy efficiency interventions in public buildings.

The general objective of EduFootprint Project is to better manage, plan and monitor the energy consumption in public buildings in the Mediterranean area.
Specifically, EduFootprint aims to reach this aim working focused in public school buildings with an innovative Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach, considering not just direct energy impacts of buildings (consumption), but also indirect ones (public procurement or general human awareness and behaviour).

Fit-to-nZEB, a Horizon 2020 project continuing the legacy of the BUILD UP Skills Initiative within the Construction Skills topical area, aims to increase the competence and skills of the building professionals in 7 European countries - Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Ireland, Italy and Romania - through unique educational programmes and pilot training courses, which will contribute to both the quality and the scale of the deep energy building renovations throughout EU.

This is a Decision-Support Tool, implemented in an online web-based application, with the main purpose of helping local and regional authorities to relatively easy and quickly calculate energy and financial savings in individual public buildings and for the whole building stock by applying different energy efficiency measures.
