The report aims to identify, analyse and extract lessons learnt and guidelines from several promising home renovation services in Europe with a focus on:
target group audience;
relations between involved stakeholders;
data required for operating the service;
number of supported renovation projects
and triggered investment.

They look like ordinary windows but they're not. Inside each pane, there is a continuous flow of distilled water and glycol. The windows have been designed by researchers and architects working to create the energy-efficient buildings of tomorrow. The technology is being tested at an experimental pavilion in Sofia.

Reaching a height of 160 meters, the Paris Court covers an area of approximately 110,000 m² and accommodates up to 8,800 people per day.
The large rectangular atrium develops over the entire height of the base, up to 28 meters. This space is completed by two smaller atriums to the south and north, connected to the ground floor by a large longitudinal corridor through the entire base, from north to south, for 160 meters.

The Renovate Europe Campaign celebrated its annual REDay beacon event on the 8th of October 2019 in the European Parliament. Gathering building sector stakeholders, experts and policymakers this ninth edition was hosted by MEP Pernille Weiss (EPP, Denmark) and co-hosted by MEP Ciarán Cuffe (Greens, Ireland) and MEP Theresa Griffin (S&D, United Kingdom). This diverse political support demonstrates the cross-party relevance of the Campaign.

The legislation requires all large enterprises based in the European Union - with at least 250 employees, or annual revenues over €50 million and an annual balance sheet of over €43 million - to comply with the national energy audit obligation, including calculating their total energy consumption and identifying saving opportunities across their estate, every four years.

The Rainhof is one of the most precious rural buildings of the Gsiesertal valley (IT), at 1.500 m above sea level. Built with solid stone masonry walls and the vernacular “Blockbau” (solid wood) construction, the building presents many traditional features, such as windows with deep reveals, decorated painted frames around the windows, and vaulted ceilings. The project was awarded the 1st prize at the Bauern(h)auszeichnung - ITAS-Preis 2016 for the best renovation of a farmhouse in Südtirol.

Members of the Efficient Buildings Community, public authorities and research institutions gathered to discuss the main outcomes of the Community from the last three years of project.

VISTA is located in the Luciline-Rives de Seine eco-district, the only French project on the prestigious European label Future Cities dedicated to urban planning programs designed to better prevent and combat the effects of climate change. This commercial and housing complex completes the built front along the Seine, in a developing area. This new office built in 2017 consists in the realization of 4,600 m² of offices for the Matmut Group and 45 social housing units.

The SCORES concept (Figure below) is based on a hybrid system combining effectively and efficiently solutions that harvest electricity and heat from the sun, store electricity, convert electricity into heat, store heat, and manage the energy flows in the building. The following ideas and assumptions are the starting point for the development of this highly inter-disciplinary overall concept:
