The venticool platform was inaugurated in September 2012 to increase awareness on ventilative cooling and to foster exchanges in the field. From 2013 to 2019, venticool was the main communication and dissemination partner of IEA-EBC Annex 62 Ventilative Cooling and hosted the combined venticool-EBC annex 62 website.

Interest & awareness in the field of building and ductwork airtightness continues to grow. The TightVent Airtightness Associations Committee is continuously increasing its members and broadening its scope in line with their activities in the field. There is a major role and an inarguable commitment for the TightVent Europe platform to continue disseminating information on these fields.

The 41st AIVC & ASHRAE IAQ joint Conference “IAQ 2020: Indoor Environmental Quality Performance Approaches Transitioning from IAQ to IEQ” will be held from the 14th to the 16th of September 2020 in Athens, Greece together with the 9th TightVent and the 7th venticool conferences. Abstract submission is now open and due December 9, 2019.

After careful consideration by the Steering Committee and from input by authors, ASHRAE and AIVC have decided to postpone the conference, which was initially scheduled for September 14-16, 2020 in Athens, Greece.
The IAQ 2020 conference is being postponed by one year to September 13-15, 2021 as a face-to-face conference in Athens, Greece.
