Concept and objectives:   procuRE brings together 6 procurers from 6 countries, responsible for over 21,000 public buildings, to invest over €7 million in R&D to tackle their common challenge of achieving 100% Renewable Energy Supply (RES) in existing stock.

Within its 2030 climate and energy framework, the EU has committed to improving the energy performance of buildings.   Since three quarters of today’s buildings will still exist in 2050, the key to a low carbon building stock is to renovate.

Games are fun — they are not always about winning or losing, but about engaging people in an idea and a process.   Playing can spark new ideas, collaboration, and learning.   The Energy Transition Game is designed by the TripleA-reno team (together with DWA), does just that.
