Innova MicroSolar  (Innovative Micro Solar Heat and Power System for Domestic and Small Business Residential Buildings) is a research and innovation project funded by the European Commission under the HORIZON 2020 Framework Programme. This is mainly due to the growth of the service sector and urbanisation and their associated demand for heating, cooling ventilation (HVAC), ICT services, lighting, mobility, etc..
