The project Keep Cool II proposes different actions to achieve this goal. For this it is divided in two phases. The first one provides analysis and technical tools to overcome the most important barriers by introducing sustainable summer comfort. The second phase is addressing existing networks and policy makers on national and European level by providing them information materials with good practice examples designed especially for the target groups. It will accompanied by dissemination campaigns.

The Business Center Lower Austria has been built in 2007 and has a gross floor area of approximately 7000 m². The heating and cooling demand are 66.5 respectively 90% lower than the Lower Austrian Building code. The heating demand is 4.57 kWh/m³y and the cooling demand is 0.1 kWh/m³y.
