Concept:   Innovation in interconnected systems design is crucial for reducing cost and complexity in multi-component computing platforms.   Current software development tools cannot fulfil the various antagonistic criteria in programming architecture. AMPERE’s model-driven engineering (MDE) framework addresses this challenge.

As part of the BIMzeED project, a number of training modules on the topics of BIM and NZEB have been developed and are available to use for FREE.   These online modules will be of interest to people in Higher or Vocational Education, or private trainers. By becoming a trainer on the BIMzeED course, you will gain access to a wealth of information that you can use in your own professional capacity as a training provider.

Games are fun — they are not always about winning or losing, but about engaging people in an idea and a process.   Playing can spark new ideas, collaboration, and learning.   The Energy Transition Game is designed by the TripleA-reno team (together with DWA), does just that.

In its recent Renovation Wave, the European Commission outlined its vision on making Europe’s current building stock more energy efficient and sustainable by at least doubling the annual energy renovation rate of buildings by 2030.   Without any doubt, Europe has a unique opportunity to rethink, redesign and modernise our buildings to make them fit for a greener, more digital society, that generates a sustained economic recovery and creates better and healthier homes.

Abstract: The energy performance of buildings directive requires from the European Union Member States to ensure that by 31 December 2020 all new buildings are nearly zero-energy buildings (NZEBs) and after 31 December 2018, new buildings occupied/owned by the public authorities should also have the NZEB perfor-mance.
