Quantifying the behavioural change and energy savings of students living in dormitory buildings - Year 2 (SAVES project)   The Student Switch Off (SSO) campaign is an inter-dormitory energy-saving competition that has been running in the United Kingdom since 2006, and has been adapted to run in Lithuania, Greece, Sweden and Cyprus over the academic years 2014-15 and 2015-16; it aims to reach up to 49,942 students in total over the two years. The campaign is then meant to run on a self-funded basis in subsequent years.

Student Switch Off (SSO) is an inter-dormitory energy-saving competition run in 17 different university housing providers, housing 24,976 students in five countries over the academic years 2014/15 and 30,349 in 2015/16 respectively (55,325 students in total over two years). SSO is part of the SAVES project, a project funded by the EU.
