ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) has just announced the publication of the following standard: ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 214-2017, Standard for Determining and Expressing Building Energy Performance in a Rating Programme. The standard aims at providing uniformity in the building energy labelling and disclosure process. It gives a standardised approach for determining and expressing building energy performance in a rating programme and standardises the content of a label associated with the energy component of a rating programme.
