According to a new report published by the Adaptation and Resilience in the Context of Change (ARCC) network UK homes are experiencing poor indoor air quality (IAQ) at a scale and magnitude that needs immediate national-level attention and action.

Last month, UK’s Chancellor George Osborne announced that he was terminating the policy designed to ensure that all new homes built from 2016 meet zero carbon standards. The productivity plan “Fixing the foundations” announcement included also a sister policy applying to all new non-residential buildings (offices, schools and hospitals) starting from 2019.
