This new antology edited by three Swedish researchers explores places and buildings of human history and cultural heritage by looking for pathways. Fifteen researchers from countries including India, Israel and the UK and the researchers describe pathways from a range of perspectives divided into three parts: history, storytelling and cultural heritage.

“Holistic Renovation of Modernism Housing” is an initiative coming from the New European Bauhaus and developed in the Baltics. The main concept is to renovate the post-war period prefabricated housing stock. These type of buildings are energy inefficient, are no more aesthetically attractive and do not respond to residents´ needs.
