Energy efficiency is a commercial success factor. Not only is it the most direct way to cut energy and consequently costs, but consuming less energy also mitigates climate change and preserves the environment. Energy efficient small & medium enterprises (SMEs) play a vital role in achieving the goals of the EU’s Energy Union Strategy. However, in order to boost SMEs’ intelligent energy use, they need guidance and support.
