The SmartBuilt4EU project launches its first workshop to identify barriers, challenges and opportunities to support the take up of smart buildings in Europe.
This session will introduce the four task forces that will each address a specific theme (see below) and will kick off their respective activity.

As of 12 January 2021, the 22nd edition of the European Energy Transition Conference – the annual appointment of the local players committed to energy transition – will open.
As they do every year, representatives of the public authorities, the economic and academic worlds and the civil society will meet up to debate and share their experience of local energy transition around a programme made up of over a hundred events – plenary sessions and workshops.

The Concerted Action for the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (CA EPBD), the Concerted Action for the Renewable Energy Sources Directive (CA RES) and the Concerted Action for the Energy Efficiency Directive (CA EED) organised the workshop during January 2020 in Barcelona, to explore synergies in the implementation of these three key pieces of European energy legislation.

On 9th March 2020 Eurac research is hosting a workshop at NOI Techpark (Bolzano) within the FESR project INTEGRIDS funded by ERDF/ EFRE/ FESR EU Program of Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen, under the grant n. FESR1042. The main objective of the project is the definition and analysis of energy grids, which must be considered as synergies between thermal and electric grids and as means to allow a broad implementation of renewable energy inside buildings and efficient energy grids.
