The IEE MOVIDA project developed a tool for automatic generation of advice to end users, from the compilation of a check list of heating and cooling systems during inspections. The tool, derived from the Dutch "Installation Performance Scan", was in-field tested in seven EU countries. It is possible to have an added value from the EPBD inspections, which may go beyond the control of compliance and become a potential source of energy efficiency measures.

Once details are logged on the iSERVcmb database, the energy consumption of the HVAC components can be recorded and analysed by sending sub-hourly data from an automatic meter reading system to the iSERVcmb cloud based servers.
