Be a part of it - organise an Energy Day in your city or region Wherever you are in Europe, join the EUSEW 2011 and organise an Energy Day in your city, town or region between 11 and 15 April 2011 (weekends before and after accepted). Energy days can be any event to promote energy efficiency or renewable energy - from exhibitions, conferences, online events, and performances to guided tours, open door days, workshops, media campaigns, concerts and much more... Events on energy efficiency will be particularly welcome in view of 2011's main focus on this theme.

Die Daten decken ungefähr 10% der beheizten Fläche in Deutschland ab und enthalten Informationen zum Gebäude, zur Heizenergieverbrauch und zum Modernisierungsstand.

If you are a school in the UK all you need to do is complete a simple registration form to gain full access to the programme and its supporting tools. There are thousands of schools in the UK already registered and once registered yourself you will be able to communicate with these schools and others across the contintent.

To become involved, schools simply register at www.carbondetectives.org.uk. They are then provided with their initial carbon footprint, and access to a range of new teaching materials, planning tools and carbon calculators to help reduce it.

ACEEE based its findings on a review of 57 different residential sector feedback programs between 1974 and 2010. To realize potential feedback-induced savings, ACEEE conclusion is that advanced meters must be used in conjunction with in-home (or on-line) displays and well-designed programs that successfully inform, engage, empower, and motivate people. Three of the most promising approaches in the short- to medium-term include enhanced billing, daily/weekly feedback, and “off line” and Web-based real-time feedback.
