Considering the depletion of non-renewable resources and global climate change, new solutions for energy supply become increasingly important. Energy service companies (ESCOs) in Europe are already showing that energy efficiency and profitability do not contravene. Innovative Energy Performance Contracts can reduce energy consumption of buildings by 25 percent and more.
