This year, the 24th annual In­ter­na­tion­al Pass­ive House Con­fer­en­ce will take place online for the very first time! The con­fer­en­ce will run from 20 Septem­ber to 8 Oc­to­ber 2020 and includes a multitude of lectures, workshops and building tours! All ses­sions will be re­cor­ded and can be ac­cessed again after the con­fer­en­ce between 10 Oc­to­ber and 1 Novem­ber 2020. You can now dis­cov­er the pro­gramme here.

In general, optimisation is about finding the best available values given certain limitations and functions. All processes and systems, such as a district heating system, can be optimised to achieve the best possible values, based on predetermined settings. District heating and cooling systems can be optimised in several ways, from optimum substations to larger system optimisations, all important in their own way.
