The Commission is in the process of updating some of the content on this website in light of the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. If the site contains content that does not yet reflect the withdrawal of the United Kingdom, it is unintentional and will be addressed.

The new requirement protects both the experts issuing certificates and their clients, building owners and developers. Insured experts protect their solvency in case their mistake causes a damage. This method is described in a small practical guidebook (40 pages). It includes three levels of inspections or diagnosis: - DIAGVENT 1: no measurements, only visual checking, for commissioning new installations. The main objective is to verify that the installed system is in accordance with the expected one.
