Public authorities can serve as examples regarding environmentally friendly procurements. But this topic also raises some issues:
What role do have environmental aspects currently in public procurement in Europe and how can the aim of environmentally friendly procurement be implemented in practice? What kind of initiatives, experiences and criteria do already exist?
The goal of this event is to bring together decision makers, experts, scientists and practitioners from all over Europe to talk about the latest topics on green public procurement.
This will be the occasion to discuss how procurement practice can help meet the goals the EU as set regarding climate protection, circular economy, biodiversity or non toxic environments.
Key issues will also be
- further challenges in green public procurement,
- best practices in cities and communities and
- exchange on product groups
