The European ETICS Forum has established as a high-level European platform for information and communication about thermal insulation of buildings. The 4th edition will take place on 5 October 2017 in Warsaw.

Following the tradition of previous events, the EAE invites scientists, political decision makers, architects, designers, system manufacturers, suppliers of system components and raw materials, construction specialists, applicators, and all experts related to thermal improvements of the buildings’ envelopes from all over Europe to join EAE’s European ETICS Forum.  The latest information and developments relevant for improving the energy efficiency of Europe’s huge building stock will be presented and discussed. Delegates of EAE's liaison partner associations China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE) and Japanese Association for Housing Thermal Insulation Technology (JATI) have already confirmed their participation.

Among other topics, information about innovations in ETICS, insulation products and system components will be provided. Furthermore, the preliminary results of European harmonization of façade fire testing will be presented – a topic that has been addressed and requested by EAE in previous Forums, and is now being supported by the European Commission. The latest information about European standardization and new European Assessment Documents for ETICS will also be shared.

As the first ETICS took place 60 years ago in Germany, there will be special focus on the life-cycle of systems. It will include aspects of long-term durability, ensuring system quality, examples for training and certification of applicators, ending up with the removal and recycling of ETICS at the end of the life-cycle.
