Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum is pleased to host the KIC InnoEnergy Industry Conference 2012 in order to present the KIC InnoEnergy network and its activities. The conference is addressed to participants from industry, particularly SME, education, research and politics.
KIC InnoEnergy is a European network, funded by the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT), which aims at closing the innovation gap and boosting Europe’s innovative strength in the field of sustainable energy for a climate neutral Europe. Within its knowledge triangle, KIC InnoEnergy integrates „Education, Innovation and Business“. At six Co-Location Centres, KIC InnoEnergy promotes the education of highly qualified personnel, entrepreneurship and the development of innovative close-to-market products and services.
You are kindly invited to have an exchange with branch experts during the presentations and workshops on the topics “Energiewende” and knowledge transfer and for extensive networking with high potentials and decision makers form the energy sector.
At the conference the European Co-Location Centres will present their highlights from the knowledge triangle innovation, education and business within their thematic energy focus: Renewable Energies, Smart Grids & Storage, Intelligent Buildings and Cities, Sustainable Nuclear & Renewable Energy Convergence, Clean Coal, and Energy from Chemical Fuels.
During the Pre-Programme on 10th December you will furthermore have the opportunity to participate in the Inauguration of the ‘European Network of Women for Innovative Energy Solutions’.
You will learn more about the added value through partnerships, funding or project collaboration that KIC InnoEnergy can provide to your research or business activities in the following workshops:
KIC InnoEnergy transfers knowledge - presentation of Innovation Projects within the ‚Energiewende‘;
KIC InnoEnergy educates - Contents and objectives of KIC InnoEnergy’s education programs;
KIC InnoEnergy supports entrepreneurship - selected entrepreneurs present innovative project ideas to chosen investors followed by an Idea Assessment.
Presentations and discussions will partly be in German, partly in English. Translation will be provided the first day. Please be so kind to consider this when you register.
