Integration of Renewable Energies in NZEB

Tuesday, 28 March 2017,

01:00 – 02:00 pm CET Time

This is the third of a series of five webinars for FREE that MEnS project is going to deliver for its e-learning platform.

This webinar deals with the role of renewable energy technologies in the retrofit of existing buildings toward the NZEB standard.

NZEB should obtain a substantial fraction of their energy consumption from renewable energies. To assure the feasibility of such renewable supply, solutions should be found that take into account the different types of renewable resources and their integration into a microgrid system that, depending on the possibility to be connected to the grid, could include a storage system.

In this lesson, a review of the main aspects to be considered in the design of the renewable system for a NZEB will be addressed.

Q&A will follow the end of the presentations.

Participation is open to all stakeholders and professionals working in the building sector.
