As the iNSPiRe project reaches the end of its EC funding phase, partners are hosting a final workshop to provide valuable insight into the innovative, energy-efficient retrofit solutions it has developed, tested and demonstrated. The workshop will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 15 September 2016 (9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.).
With a series of presentations, round table debate, open discussion and audience participation, delegates will learn what is at the cutting edge of green retrofitting technology and how this technology can be implemented across the market.
The workshop will also involve the RETROKIT project, a complementary EC-funded study that has been developing and demonstrating multifunctional, modular, low-cost prefabricated modules that are easy to install and so increase the rate of retrofitting in Europe.
Together, the projects offer a level of expertise and experience in energy-efficient retrofitting that will be essential for all those involved in the renovation market, including building owners, policy makers, local authorities, industry and energy companies.
iNSPiRe is a four-year project, funded through the EC’s FP7 funding programme, that has been working towards the development of systemic renovation packages designed to reduce the energy consumption of existing buildings to lower than 50kWh/m²/year.
