Wednesday 25 January 2017, 10:00 am Brussels time (CET)

In view of the challenge to achieve Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings, building services systems increasingly rely on renewable energy sources: solar thermal, heat pumps, geothermal, biomass, photovoltaics. This webinar deals with handling renewable energy systems in the EPC (Energy Performance Certificate).

The webinar consists of two parts:

  •     The first part deals with the following challenge to achieve compliant input data for EPC calculation, and an EPC which can be trusted.
  •     The second part addresses relevant aspects of the proposed revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), in particular the introduction of a ‘smartness indicator’ of the building and how to deal with flexibility.

Presenters are Susanne Geissler (OEGNB) and François Durier (CETIAT). The webinar is scheduled for 1 hour. After each presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
