The European Commission is pleased to invite you to the Reflect, Debate, Advise – Get Level(s) right conference

The aim of the event is two-fold – firstly, to present the analysis and findings of the Level(s) test phase; and, secondly, to further engage with testers, test co-ordinators and stakeholders more widely from the building sector on how to revise Level(s) and ensure its success. The Commission aims to release the final publication version in the summer of 2020, so your continuous participation in this process will be very important.

During the morning, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) will present the results from the Level(s) testing, which involved over 130 buildings. The findings are based on the testers’ results, survey responses as well as verification interviews with selected test teams. This will be complemented by findings from national tests in France, Finland and Denmark. The afternoon will offer the opportunity for participants to help shaping the future of Level(s). This will be done through a series of discussions on how to improve the tool and assure its success, based on the findings from the test phase. The JRC, together with a selection of testers, will present initial ideas and proposals as the basis for further discussion.

Following on from the event, you will also have the chance to submit your comments on the initial proposals for the future of Level(s) made by the Commission. This can be done until the end of March 2020.

The European Commission is looking forward to seeing and thanking all those who have contributed so much to the Level(s) development in Brussels on Thursday, 20th February 2020.

Please note that this is a limited capacity event and this message does not automatically entail the possibility to participate in the event. All registrations for the conference will be considered on an individual basis by approval of the European Commission.

Updates to the programme and speakers will be announced on Level(s) webpage and via Twitter @DG Environment.
