Vienna Congress on Sustainable Building 2015

The Vienna Congress on Sustainable Building 2015, held in the framework of the Vienna Bauen & Energie trade fair, focuses on managing comfort and energy efficiency in buildings in use.

 

The main topics of discussion will be the following:

1. Building Services: How much is enough? How dynamic  can buildings be, and how inert must they be?

2. Monitoring of Buildings – Energy Efficiency – Comfort. Watching the unknown behaviour of occupants

3. Affordability – for developers, occupants, and subsidy schemes

 

In addition to the presentations and panel discussions, a series of workshops will be organised based on the following themes:

A. Interior Insulation

B. IEA ECBCS Annex 57

C. QUALICHeCK

D. EPD - Environmental Product Declaration

E. Building Monitoring

A field trip to significant new urban developments in the Vienna region will take place on the third day, Saturday 14 February 2015.

 

The conference includes a guided tour of the trade fair (English and German).
