March 25, 2021 | 11:00 – 12:00 CET
This webinar will explore the mechanisms by which cities and regions can kick-start their renovation wave by facilitating collaboration between the public and private sector.
Emphasis will be placed on the development and potential for one-stop-shops, accelerating the use of recovery funds in home renovation programmes despite the COVID-19 pandemic, recommendations on how cities can be proactive under the current circumstances, as well as technical and financial tools that can facilitate the energy transition.
Successful home renovation programs from the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy will be presented. These programs collectively address holistic assistance, affordable financing, and effective customer engagement while utilizing an innovative financing mechanism.
In the Netherlands, debt is decoupled from the owner and attached to a property. In Spain and Italy, credit enhancement solutions are put in place to ensure affordable financing.
Who should attend and why?
Cities, regions, special focus on housing/financing departments, project developers, policymakers, and investors are welcome to join.
