BER registered Assessors have proven competence to undertake and provide Building Energy Ratings (BERs) and accompanying Advisory Reports to a consistently high standard.
In order to become a BER registered assessor it is necessary to pass the BER Assessor exam. SEAI regularly updates the domestic and non-domestic BER Examinations to reflect the current methodology and guidelines. Registered BER assessors must pass the relevant examination every two years to maintain their registration.
