Nearly Zero-Energy Sports Facilities
n0e-sport is a three 3 years project (2014-2016) developed under the IEE programme as an integrated initiative on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Buildings. The project groups 7 partners from 7 countries, who have all identified sports facilities as a key energy consumers.
n0e-sport paves the way towards Nearly Zero Energy (NZE) Sports Facilities by designing, demonstrating and communicating an integrated package of building renovation, new technology, energy saving methods and renewable energies. The integrated package will be applied on selected pilot buildings in all partners’ area.
Policy makers, owners and managers of sports facilities (often local authorities), and providers of EE/RE technologies/services are key target groups and are invited to participate in the development and application of suitable energy efficiency solutions.
