Open Source Tools to Share, Compare, and Reuse Low-Carbon Energy Data
Data is central for energy research and analysis. Unfortunately, energy data is often difficult to find, mixed in different repositories, and generally fragmented. This results in a lack of efficiency for research and energy transition management.

International Energy Agency (IEA) for Energy in Buildings and Communities (EBC) Annex 70 – Building Energy Epidemiology: Analysis of real building energy use at scale.
What is Annex 70?
Annex 70 is an international collaboration of researchers, industry and government from across the globe who are working to develop methods for improving the empirical evidence on energy demand in the building stock.

In general terms, the Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the allocation of unique identifiers (such as IP addresses) to physical objects. Those identifiers enable objects to connect to a network allowing the transfer of data to and from those entities. These objects can potentially be anything: people, animals, vehicles, plants, appliances, building components, etc., and they are often described as smart
objects, for example, a smart meter, a smart phone, a smart home, etc.
