Both projects are working on data-driven solutions to turn raw data from buildings into meaningful knowledge and to improve the interoperability between datasets. The webinar focused on presenting both projects and providing the audience with an introduction to the innovative solutions that they are working on.   The webinar kicked off with an introduction from Stavros Stamatoukos from CINEA, who spoke about the Horizon Europe call  “Need for advanced data-driven monitoring of building stock”.

This project uses augmented reality (AR) to generate an interactive visualisation of the future Smart Living Lab. In a first step, the team imported digital models of the building into an AR application and superimposed them on the real space, i.e. the construction site, the physical model and the 2D building plans.

Abstract   The performance gap describes the difference between how much energy buildings actually use and how much they were expected to consume and can mislead the building design and operation decision-making process. Occupant behaviour plays an important role in reducing this gap because traditional representations i.e., standard schedules and occupant-related power densities, simplify its diversity and stochastic nature.
