Europeans spend approximately 90 % of their time in buildings. Living indoors requires energy to maintain the right temperature, to cook and to use electrical appliances. In fact, energy is expected to guarantee a healthy and comfortable environment. Of all the sectors in Europe, the building sector consumes the most energy, and thus emits the most CO2. As a result, policymakers have made buildings a priority in the EU energy policy agenda.

En la Jornada “Los beneficios de BIM, aplicados a BREEAM®, LEED®, WELL y Passivhaus” , organizada por BioEconomic®, en el COAATMU - Murcia, el pasado 4 de Octubre, se identificaron los beneficios, se vieron la reducción de costes, las mediciones, la metodología y los procesos BIM, para conseguir Edificios de Consumo Casi Nulo “ECCN” - “nZEB”, implementando la sostenibilidad de las certificaciones BREEAM®, LEED® y Passivhaus para mejorar la salud y el bienestar de los ocupantes con la certificación WELL Building Standard®.

On Wednesday 28 August 2019, the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC), The Building Efficiency Accelerator (BEA), the World Resources Institute (WRI) and C40 cities hosted a BEA Regional Workshop in Bogotá, Colombia.
The BEA is a public private initiative of 45 cities and states, and more than 40 companies and organisations from around the world, that take action to improve energy efficiency in buildings and align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
