This seminar and matchmaking session, held in the framework of the European Union Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW 2016), will focus on energy efficiency in buildings.   During the seminar, participants will learn about the research frontiers within the energy efficiency field, get advice on how to build consortia and communicate their project’s impact in proposals, and get concrete examples of successful projects.

Local solutions for the fight against energy poverty - local authorities help fight against energy poverty   Energy poverty is a European-wide problem which, if left untreated, is likely to worsen in the current economic climate. It risks locking some EU consumers out of the energy transition currently under way and prevent them from benefitting from the advantages of an integrated, modernised and consumer-centric internal energy market.
