Join the PUBLENEF final Conference during #EURegionsWeek on 10 October 2018 in Palais des Académies.   A new Energy Efficiency Directive has been agreed upon and Europeans now have their new target: 32,5% for 2030. Public authorities through their energy efficiency strategies will be the main drivers for implementing the necessary measures and monitoring their impact towards this new target.

Energy efficiency is the ‘no regret’ solution to reduce the European Union’s dependence on energy imports and fight climate change, while featuring multiple benefits. Yet, its potential is underexploited. The EU’s 30% energy efficiency target foreseen for 2030 could only be reached as a result of effective multi-level governance between local, regional and national authorities.
