Investor Confidence Project (ICP) Europe is developing a suite of building energy renovation roadmaps - Energy Performance Protocols - that aim to reduce transaction costs by assembling existing standards and practices into a consistent and transparent process. These tools then enable a marketplace for building owners, project developers, utilities, public programmes and investors to trade in standardised energy efficiency projects.

We would like to invite you to the next meeting of the Investor Confidence Project (ICP) Europe’s Technical Forum, a webinar on Thursday 24th September at 15:00 CET (Brussels). In this meeting, the first draft Protocol on Large Tertiary (non-domestic) Buildings and Standard Tertiary Buildings will be presented, as well as an update on the overall results of our research efforts.

The Investor Confidence Project (ICP) of the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) develops a consensus framework to predict and measure energy savings, enabling the acceleration of energy efficiency investments in the commercial building sector.   Through ICP, EDF is working with engineers, industry allies, financial market participants, insurers, regulators and utilities to help define standard weights and measures that will facilitate the flow of private investment required to launch a global market for energy efficiency in buildings.
