An understanding of human thermal comfort has proven to be one of the key components of energy efficiency in buildings. Human comfort is more to comfort than just temperature and humidity. For instance, the radiative energy that is emitted from walls, the air speed and also physiological factors such a as the people’s metabolic rate, the skin wettedness, and skin emissivity all have an effect.

Do your Owners ask for #SmartLeanBIM deliverables?
If not – they MUST join this practical webinar to hear how they can request valuable BIM and Information Requirements.
Requesting only what is necessary and useful for an Owner can be a challenge but knowing these three best practices will save your team hours of unnecessary work.

Using 3D modelling software, layering it with data, and working very closely with all partners in construction and engineering projects is critical if European companies are to survive in the challenging and rapidly changing market.
Building information modelling (BIM) is a digital information management approach. It means a more efficient use of resources, more effective communications and therefore collaboration within the partnership, greater flexibility and improved long-term planning.

More than 10 scenarios were modelled by the organisations who supported the model testing, while other scenarios were elaborated by the project team to explore the net-zero opportunities and trade-offs.
Out of these scenarios, three typical pathways were selected to illustrate the conclusions of this report.
All three reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
